No matter how tired I am at the end of the day—whether it’s a long day at work, an extra-long dinner with friends, or getting in late from a red-eye—I always take off my makeup. It’s one of those cardinal beauty rules I’ll never break.

For the longest time, I accepted that this meant ending every day the same way: painstakingly wiping and swiping off every last bit of makeup, with mascara taking the longest.

That’s not so true these days, after I discovered The Comeback Mascara from Athr Beauty. This mascara, made with nourishing acai and sunflower seed oils, lengthens and plumps up my stubby lashes in just two coats, without mess—during both the application and removal processes.

To apply, I like to wiggle the wand at the base of my lashes to make sure each individual lash is grabbed and coated in the inky formula. Then I do it again, making sure each lash has at least two layers of product.

And at the end of the day, when it comes time to take it all off, all it takes is a little warm water and light rubbing. Not too bad!
