Nicole Kidman’s Response to Boyfriend Rumors Amid Keith Urban Drama

Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman is “embracing love” and a new chapter in her life following her divorce from Keith Urban.

In British Vogue’s September 2026 cover story, Kidman revealed that both her personal and professional decisions are guided by her “feelings first” strategy. “I’ve approached my whole life like that,” she explained. “That’s just who I am. I don’t overthink things and I’m probably not that analytical. I’m far more feeling-centred and I lead with my heart. I just go, ‘OK, what do I feel here? I’ll give it a go.’ It throws people, because I think they think I’ll be far more measured and I’m not.”

While Kidman acknowledged that she “can still approach things intellectually,” she emphasized her desire “not to be ruled by [her] head.”

“I’ve always wanted to live a well-examined life, so what does that entail?” she continued. “Trying things, making mistakes, failing, getting back up, moving on, embracing love, staying open, keeping the heart open and the possibilities.”

Her comments come shortly after she sparked dating rumors with businessman Michael Reinstein. In late July, Kidman and Reinstein were photographed together outside her hotel room in Portofino, Italy, and later seen getting cozy poolside, according to Page Six. Days later, Reinstein was spotted picking up Kidman from a Los Angeles airport in his Ferrari, further fueling speculation.

Alluding to her rumored romance, Kidman told British Vogue she recently enjoyed a “Euro summer,” spending time in Paris, London, Ibiza, and Italy.

Sources alleged to Hollywood insider Rob Shuter that Kidman hopes Urban “feels a little sting” seeing her traveling the world with Reinstein. “Not because she wants him back, but because she wants him to understand exactly what he lost,” an insider claimed to Naughty But Nice. “After everything she’s been through, she believes he’s earned that feeling.”

“Nicole is still deeply hurt by everything that happened,” another said. “Friends say she’s moving on, but that doesn’t mean the pain has disappeared. If Keith saw her looking happy, glamorous, and being treated well, nobody around her thinks that’s the worst thing in the world.”

New Idea reported that Kidman and Reinstein’s rumored romance has “shredded” the country music star. Urban apparently “had hopes there might be a chance at a reconciliation,” but now, he’s “absolutely devastated and is going through that feeling of deep loss all over again.”

“It has sent him into a tailspin, and all his friends are keeping a close eye on him,” a separate source stated. “Everyone knows how upset he is, but they’re not going to let this get to him.”

However, seeing his beloved ex-wife moving on gives Urban the chance to do the same “without worrying about upsetting anyone.” Still, “he’s crushed, and the last thing he feels like is getting close to someone new.” But he knows things with Kidman are truly over, and putting himself out there again could be a powerful step forward.

Kidman filed for divorce from Urban in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage. At the time, a source told People that Kidman “didn’t want this,” adding, “She has been fighting to save the marriage.” The divorce was finalized in January 2026.
