How to Make StyleCaster a Preferred News Source on Google
If you want to stay up to date with StyleCaster’s coverage of the latest entertainment news or fashion trends, Google has now made it easier than ever.
Rather than scrolling through endless search results, you can make StyleCaster one of your Preferred Sources on Google. This means when we cover a trending topic—like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s extravagant NYC wedding—our stories will appear first in the Top Stories section.

Google introduced the Preferred Sources feature in August 2026 for users in the U.S. and India, allowing readers to officially select their favorite publications to make sure they see those articles first.
To make StyleCaster your Preferred Source, you can simply click this link or follow the step-by-step instructions below.
It can be anything entertainment or royals-related. In this case, we’re going to use celebrity power couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as an example.
2. Click on the icon to the right of Top Stories.
After searching for a current event or entertainment-related topic, click on the starred square icon next to Top Stories.
3. Search and select your Preferred Sources
Start typing “StyleCaster” into the search field and then click the checkmark next to StyleCaster.
Press “Reload Results.”
After you click the “reload results” button, your new search results should include the latest from StyleCaster.com. From there, StyleCaster will appear more prominently in the Top Stories or the “From your sources” section.
In this example, the results now include our story about Swift and Kelce’s pets—cats Olivia Benson, Meredith Grey, and Benjamin Button, and their white Samoyed dog—allegedly fighting after their July 3 wedding.
