What to Wear to BTS’ Arirang Tour—Outfit Ideas From a Fan

ARMY, it’s our time to shine. BTS is in the middle of the Arirang World Tour, which marks their first tour as a group after a four-year hiatus. As someone who has gone to a fair share of BTS group and solo shows, I’m a firm believer in the fact that BTS concerts are the time for fans to show off their incredible devotion to the group. With what exactly, you might ask? Their unrivaled fashion sense, of course!

Permission to Dance LA was my first BTS concert, and to say that my life was changed for the better is a severe understatement. The boys’ energy blew the roof off of SoFi Stadium, so I knew I had to bring my A-game to make my outfit light up like dynamite. Going along with the vibrant theme and concept of the concerts, I wore a tank top bursting with neon colors and light blue sweatpants from the Beyoncé and Adidas Ivy Park line. I also strapped on a pair of trusty Doc Martens and added BT21 charms representing each character on the shoelaces.

While at the show, I was in awe of ARMY’s dedication and whimsical takes on fashion—whether it’s completely owning a music video concept, or straight showing their true Bora (purple) colors. Even at other PTD shows, my ARMY friends took on a funner approach—one dressed up in a DIY Tata (V’s BT21 character) and got noticed on the Jumbotron by RM.

Now that their next tour is in full swing, TikTok, Pinterest, and Instagram are already teeming with concert outfit inspiration through collage photos and videos. Not to mention, ARMY is ready to do their concert fit check TikTok transitions with the cutthroat sounds of “Hooligan” as the soundtrack. When is BTS on tour?

BTS’ Arirang World Tour kicked off on April 9, 2026 in Goyang, South Korea and will come to a close on March 14, 2027 in Manila, Philippines. The group will be on the road for a total of 85 dates in 34 cities across 23 countries. The second North American leg of the tour goes from August 1, 2026 through September 6, 2026. The group will hit New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, Texas, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles during this time.

How to get BTS concert tickets

Comeback of the Decade

BTS took over the historical landmark, Gwanghwamun Square, for their first performance together in four years, and their unforgettable looks plastered our screens in the best way possible. Korean designer Jay Songzio custom-made a line titled “Lyrical Armor” to represent the album’s theme of Korean pride. Each of the members emerged on the square with sleek black and white looks, resembling traditional Korean clothing but with a modernized flair.

SWIMSIDE

I was very blessed to attend BTS’ first performance at Pier 17 in New York City, thanks to Spotify, and the seven members looked exquisite on stage. The performance also served as a sneak peek of what fans might wear to the world tour. From my observations, there were many black, white, purple, and red motifs, as well as people proudly wearing artist-made merch, such as Jimin’s “You Never Walk Alone” hoodie. Like their Gwanghwamun Square performance, it was super chilly on the waterfront, but the members still looked lit as FYA. j-hope, V, and Jung Kook opted for racer motor jackets, while RM, Jin, Suga, and Jimin dressed in relaxed leather jackets. Album Artwork

On Arirang‘s album artwork, the members stand with stoic expressions and dapper suits. As we learned from the Netflix documentary, the album concept was inspired by the seven Korean men who attended Howard University and recorded the traditional folk song, “Arirang,” for the first time. Concert Essentials

Even with a perfect outfit, you still have to make sure to bring the following concert essentials. Learn from my mistakes and read closely about what your stadium allows in. During my first stadium show at PTD LA, I didn’t know that stadiums only allowed clear bags. I was scrambling at the last minute to find a bag, but luckily, Amazon had my back. Now, as a seasoned concert veteran, I present to you the only concert must-haves you need.

BTS Official Light Stick Ver. 4

The most important concert essential at any BTS concert is the group’s light stick, the ARMY Bomb. To avoid waiting in long merch lines, I recommend buying your light stick from official sites like Weverse or Target (it’s currently sold out at this retailer, but keep checking back for a restock) so that it can sync to the stadium. An ARMY Bomb wave is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed, so make sure you take part, and when RM tells the stadium to jump, you’d better do so too!
