The Latest Update on Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Marriage

Just weeks after their July 2026 wedding in New York City, newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are returning to their normal lives. 

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end reported to training camp in Missouri on July 29, with an insider telling Star he’s been “throwing himself full force back into training because the season starts very soon.”

“He’s back to being ultra disciplined with his diet and sleep schedule and training,” they continued. “It’s very full-on.”

Luckily for Kelce, his billionaire pop star wife will be by his side the entire time. “Taylor has done it before, so she knows what to expect and she’s totally happy to support him,” the source said. “But there’s no doubt it’s a big change to go from indulging non-stop to not even having a glass of wine with dinner.”

However, Swift’s “all in” with Kelce and “wants to be the ultimate support system, so she’s cooking him healthy meals [and] she’s going to bed early right alongside him. She has no issue buckling down and focusing. It’s what she does best.”

Swift’s also rumored to be heading “back to work” with a new album on the way. The insider revealed, “It’s all top secret, but there is another album brewing. She’s doing those sessions when he’s training and occasionally doing her own thing and going to the studio for marathon sessions.”

“They’re both having to get back to reality, but that hasn’t taken the wind out of their sails,” the source concluded. “They are still giddy in love.”

While juggling their busy schedules, Swift and Kelce will have to make time to raise their fur babies: cats Olivia Benson, Meredith Grey, and Benjamin Button, and their white Samoyed dog. The Daily Mail previously reported that they all “get along,” but gossip columnist Rob Shuter claimed that’s not entirely true. Insiders told Naughty But Nice that the couple’s four pets have been “feuding” since after the wedding.

“Taylor and Travis are doing great,” a source disclosed. “Ironically, it’s the animals having the hardest time blending their families. The humans figured it out much faster.”

Swift’s three felines reportedly ruled her household for years, so they aren’t too excited about Kelce’s pup coming in and “disrupting their peaceful routines.” On the other hand, the dog is reportedly very “eager” to befriend the cats.

“The dog wants to play every minute of the day, while the cats want peace, quiet, and personal space,” another source stated. “It’s like watching three tiny divas negotiate a peace treaty.”

Close friends of the pair noted that they’ve been patient, giving the pets “plenty of attention” and time to adjust at their own pace.

“Nobody is worried,” a separate insider clarified. “They all end up in the same room eventually. It may not be cuddling yet, but they’re making progress every week. The pets are taking longer to fall in love than Taylor and Travis did.”

They added, “Every newlywed couple has an adjustment period. Taylor and Travis have already found their rhythm. Now they’re just waiting for the four-legged members of the family to catch up.”
