How Much Do Prince William & Kate Middleton Make in the US vs Harry & Meghan Markle?
When you’re royalty and your main concern money-wise isn’t exactly running out of money, then the measurement for success is different. In the case of Prince William and Kate Middleton, and also Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, some people like to compare their charitable contributions. And RadarOnline is reporting that, in this regard, it’s been a very good year for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The outlet claimed the couple saw approximately $11.7 million from American Friends of the Royal Foundation in 2025, according to the charity’s financial statements. The US organization accounted for 44% of the foundation’s $26.5 million reported income.

But that’s not all—the outlet also reported that these numbers put them ahead of the most recently reported annual revenue for Archewell Philanthropies, Harry and Meghan’s charitable organization, which reportedly raised $2.6 million in revenue in 2024, down from $5.7 million the previous year. There are no more recent figures.
Among the projects William and Kate’s organization supports are: Kate’s early-childhood work, and William’s Homewards program, and United for Wildlife, William’s initiative looking to fight the illegal wildlife trade.
Harry and Meghan have mostly focused on projects focused on online safety, mental health, and the effects of artificial intelligence. Harry has also continued to do humanitarian work overseas. He previously traveled to Angola and Ukraine for the Halo Trust, which works to remove landmines and other explosive remnants of war.
“For William and Kate, the latest accounts show American fundraising becoming an increasingly substantial component of the Royal Foundation’s finances as its programs continue in Britain and internationally,” a source told the outlet.
This report comes after Harry and Meghan recently met with King Charles and Queen Camilla, a reunion that also included the couple’s children. And though that meeting hasn’t fixed everything, it’s been seen as the first step towards a possible reconciliation.
Sources recently suggested to RadarOnline that Harry and Meghan may have been motivated by mounting financial pressures to meet with Charles, with insiders saying they realized their royal status was their “biggest asset,” and that a reconciliation could help “the value of their personal brand after a difficult few years commercially.”
“There is no escaping the financial reality of the situation. The entertainment industry is incredibly competitive, and some of the opportunities that once came so easily are no longer there,” an insider continued. “Many believe the Sussexes understand that maintaining a civil relationship with the monarchy is increasingly important if they want to strengthen their long-term prospects. Whether that motivation is personal, commercial, or a combination of both is what people inside the Palace continue to debate.”
Another source added, “Basically, the Sussexes want back in the royal family as they fear their lifestyle may go bankrupt.”
Harry and Meghan have a combined net worth of over $60 million.
