Dua Lipa’s Polka-Dot Nails Are Playful Perfection

As a mom to a toddler who recently started saying “moo” with real fervor, I couldn’t help but do a double-take when I saw Dua Lipa’s most recent manicure. Said double-take made this mom-brained editor realize what looked like cow print was actually polka dots—and they’re really, really chic.

The 30-year-old pop star—who’s no stranger to a fun manicure, be it Barbie pink and white French tips or a checkerboard mani—debuted the look in a recent carousel packed with colorful bikini pics, mirror selfies with friends, pasta, landscape shots and more. But all I could focus on were those polka dots, worthy of a screenshot, a closer zoom and an immediate spot in my nail-inspo folder.

The manicure itself is medium length with rounded tips and features a milky white base dotted with small, evenly sized black circles. Lipa has yet to reveal the manicurist behind the look, but it’s likely her go-to, Michelle Humphrey—and if we’re lucky, we’ll get up-close photos from Humphrey herself via her Instagram feed any minute now.

Lipa’s not the only one obsessed with polka dots this year. The print has been a defining nail trend of 2026. NewBeauty previously rounded up standout polka-dot manicures as the look took off last summer, and the momentum hasn’t slowed: Searches for polka-dot nails were up more than 830 percent year-over-year earlier this year, according to Fresha. Hailey Bieber got in on it too, debuting a polka-dot-inspired look tied to Victoria’s Secret’s Valentine’s Day campaign.

Lipa’s version is proof polka dots remain as chic in 2026 as ever. As for my 16-month-old’s cow obsession? Still waiting for that trend to have its well-deserved moment back in the spotlight.
