Are Corbin and Parmida Still Together From Love Island USA Season 8?

Love Island USA Season 8 is (unfortunately) coming to an end, and several Islanders have been sent packing. Five Islanders were dumped from the villa in the July 3 episode, and two more followed them out the door in the July 5 episode.

After the couples competed in a karaoke competition, host Ariana Madix revealed that America had voted for the most compatible couple on the show. The bottom two couples were Kayda and Zach, and Corbin and Parmida.

The safe Islanders were then told to stand behind the couple they wanted to save, and the majority stood behind Kayda and Zach. As a result, Corbin and Parmida were dumped from Love Island USA.

Are Corbin and Parmida from Love Island USA still together?

Corbin, 22, and Parmida, 27, actually knew each other before appearing on Love Island USA. According to Parmida, Corbin once slid into her Instagram DMs and suggested they “work out together” when he moved to Miami.

Although Corbin initially denied the social media interaction, he later confessed to it. Their conversations didn’t lead to any meetings, so their first in-person interaction occurred on the show.

As of now, Corbin and Parmida are likely still together. Since the Casa Amor twist, they have been inseparable and even closed off their connection upon entering the main villa. When they were eliminated from the competition, Corbin and Parmida chose to leave Fiji together. Because the show is filmed in real time, there’s a good chance they are eager to explore their connection in the real world.

However, Corbin and Parmida’s relationship may soon be tested by distance. After spending nearly every waking moment together in the villa, they are expected to return to their normal lives, Corbin to Miami and Parmida to San Antonio, which could pose new challenges for their romance.

Love Island USA Season 1 alums Weston Richey and Emily Salch also struggled with long-distance after leaving the villa. In a May 2020 YouTube video, Emily confirmed that she and Weston broke up because of the distance between them. “Weston and I are no longer together. I am single,” Emily admitted. “Basically, we kind of went through a roller coaster of a journey together… It was really hard with distance, especially because I was in college.”
