Sandra Bullock’s Response to Nicole Kidman’s New Boyfriend

Nicole Kidman is allegedly off the market, and her Practical Magic 2 co-star, Sandra Bullock, wants her to be very careful in her new relationship.

In July 2026, the Oscar-winning actress—who divorced Keith Urban in January after 19 years of marriage—sparked dating rumors with businessman Michael Reinstein after they were photographed on vacation in Portofino, Italy. Shortly after, the pair was spotted cruising around Los Angeles in the private equity investor’s Ferrari.

Now, sources are telling Woman’s Day that Bullock is a little uneasy about Kidman’s new romance. “Sandra recognises the same type of swagger that she saw in Jesse,” an insider said, referencing her marriage to TV personality Jesse James. Bullock and James divorced in 2010 after reports of his infidelity surfaced online just days after she won an Oscar for The Blind Side.

At the time, James issued a public apology via People, saying, “There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.”

“This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them,” he added. “I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”

According to Woman’s Day, Bullock is “particularly concerned about the fact Michael was named in a 2022 lawsuit brought by a former employee, who was himself accused of embezzlement and fraud.”

“For someone as high-profile and image-consciousas Nicole, it’s a lot of baggage to take on so soon after a long marriage,” a mutual friend told the outlet. “It’s hard to imagine this will last very long at all, but Nicole can be stubborn and the more flaws that are pointed out to her, the more she’s digging her heels in.”

Several of Kidman’s friends are also worried about her dating Reinstein. Although she’s “having a ton of fun with him” and “enjoying every moment of being wined and dined,” her close friends are hoping things will fizzle out between Kidman and Reinstein.

“No one had her dating someone like this on their bingo card for this year,” the source continued. “Everyone’s hoping this is just a rebound.”
