5 Copenhagen Fashion Week Street Style Trends We’re Copying Immediately
Copenhagen’s best-dressed have never been especially interested in playing by the rules. At Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027, the Danish capital proved its best dressers are magpies for good style. Vintage slips with new-season tailoring, silk scarves knotted around heads and handbags, lace peeking out beneath sportswear, and accessories piled on with little regard for whether they technically ‘go’ were overriding themes this season.
That mix-and-match instinct feels especially at home at CPHFW, which has become one of fashion’s most closely watched weeks for sustainability, thanks to the strict environmental and social requirements brands must meet to join its official schedule. It also means the fashion outside the shows rarely feels like one enormous conveyor belt of brand-new outfits.

August’s showgoers gave us plenty to think about. Butter yellow, apparently unwilling to accept that summer is nearly over, turned up on everything from tailoring to knitwear. Sheer skirts and lace layers continued fashion’s ongoing campaign against opacity, while headscarves were tied over hair, around necks and onto bags. Capes were the week’s most dramatic proposition, sweeping through everything from trench coats to sheer evening layers.
The same sense of romance, colour and experimentation ran through several of the SS27 collections, proving once again that Copenhagen’s runway and street style tend to operate in conversation with one another. Which is exactly why it’s worth paying attention. These might be the outfits being worn in August, but there are already some very convincing clues as to what the rest of us will be reaching for come autumn.
Ahead, the best street style trends from Copenhagen Fashion Week S/S 27 we’ll be stealing immediately.
