This is a good value for a good quality eyelash curler.

However, it may not work for everyone, and how well it work will depend on your eye shape.

My eyes and eyelashes work best with my favorite Shiseido eyelash curler. This is due to my eye shape being a bit more flat and wide. Some people have this eye shape and like the Shiseido, and some have a different eye shape and like say the Shu Uemura eyelash curler with a deeper c-curve.

If you like and use the Shiseido eyelash curler in that shape and style, this curler is not going to work well or at all for you. I could not get a curl or grip with my lashes due to the shape of this lash curler vs my normal Shiseido lash curler.

The difference was the deep c-curve of this curler vs my Shiseido curler. My eye is flatter and doesn’t fit the curve of this eyelash curler. I wasn’t able to comfortably use it or get a curl.

However, it is a good curler, if it fits your eye shape, and it may or may not fit. I would say that the c-curve of this curler was one of the deepest ones and hardest to use. I find most lash curlers difficult to fit or use on my eye shape vs the Shiseido which fits my eye perfectly but has a shallow, less curved c-curve.

I would say the quality is as good with this one as say a Revlon, or E.L.F. curler, if not better. The handle with the pads is one of the nicest, easiest to hold and grasp that I’ve used. The curler is stainless steel with the plastic grip.

It has a lot of tension vs my Shiseido, but it may be because it is newer and I’ve had my Shiseido for several years. If you like a high tension, tight curler, this one is very tight. Be careful, it has quite a bit of grip.

It does not come with any replacement lash pads, and I’m not sure if any are available for it or it will work with commonly available replacement pads. The lash pad it does come with has a nice firm feel to it. It’s on the firmer side of lash curler pads vs more flexible.

No storage case or bag comes with it.

Note that it will not work until you remove the plastic piece keeping it shut.

Sheglam is a quality trusted go-to brand for me. I enjoy trying new products from their beauty line The Made for Me Eyelash Curler is sturdy and works well for my almond shaped eyes. I have very short eyelashes so curling is necessary if I want to maximize the look of my lashes.

I like the design of this curler. It fits well in my small hands and the thick, non-slip, handles make it easy to grasp and hold. It’s very different from other eyelash curlers I’ve owned as it does not have the standard loops to put your fingers through. At first, I felt that the loops on my old metal standby gave me a little bit more control over the angle and pressure used to curl, but I quickly got used to using the solid handles just as effectively. It curls evenly with one pass and no pinching.

The body of the curler is carbon steel. The lash pad is thick and comfortable, but this curler does not come with any extra pads. A couple of extra pads would have been a nice addition. This curler comes with a plastic piece that you can use to close the handles for storage.

Overall, this is a well-made, affordable eyelash curler that’s as good as any other I have used.

This eyelash curler is actually pretty decent for the price. It’s not the best one I’ve ever used, but it gets the job done. It curled my lashes nicely without pulling them out or pinching too much.

The build quality feels solid and not cheap. I also like the paddle style handle more than I expected. It feels easier to grip and control once you get used to it.

That said, I do think this curler depends a lot on your eye shape. The curve is kind of deep, so I can see it working really well for some people and not as good for others. For me it worked okay, but I had to angle it a little to get all my lashes.

I’ve always been a little hesitant about eyelash curlers—I heard a horror story years ago that stuck with me. But my lashes definitely needed a little lift, so I figured I’d give this one a try, especially since I already trust the brand from another product.

So far, I’m really happy with it. It feels comfortable in my hand and doesn’t have that awkward grip some curlers do. It’s easy to control, which helped ease my nerves a lot.

It curls my lashes nicely and gives them a noticeable lift without looking overdone. They just look better—more open and a bit more polished than on their own.

Overall, this ended up being a great introduction to using a lash curler, and I’m glad I decided to try it.

Who would've thought a very inexpensive eyelash curler would work as good as this does on my small eyes with hardly any lashes. I've used it several times if not more and not a single Pinch which always happens since I have to get so close to actually make a curl. I never just squeeze once and Always do crimping motions which gave me the perfect holding curl and separated my lashes so nicely. I really like the handles they're so comfy and make holding it so much more secure since it curves in at my thumb. The silicone on the metal is very durable Bd doesn't lift off but it's just as soft and squishy to where it grabs every single lash if you have small eyes or just eyes period you need to try this …mind you I've had expensive lash curlers in the past but never once had a paid that didn't pinch the life out of my skin like these.
