From the high-street heroes like the Maybelline Sky High mascara that have stood the test of time to the luxury labels worth forking out on, I’ve met some decent – and a few exceptional – mascaras in my time. And while there’s no shortage of excellent formulas on the market (tubing mascara, brown mascara and waterproof mascara included) very few have managed to knock this particular mascara off the top spot.

Safe to say, after more than a decade spent swatching, testing and wearing makeup for a living, I’ve become exceptionally picky about the mascaras I keep in regular rotation.
